Are you our next hero? If so, we have the perfect job for you. As part of LuggageHero, you will play a crucial part in the expansion of the concept in 2019. We are looking for motivated, talented Account Heroes to take part in the successful journey of LuggageHero.

LuggageHero is a Danish tech startup that was founded in 2016. We help travelers utilize most of their time in major cities by freeing them from their luggage. We do this by partnering up with local shops willing to store bags for travelers for a couple of hours or days. Currently, LuggageHero is available in Copenhagen, London and New York but this is only the beginning. All over the world travelers can benefit from the service and we need competent people onboard to take the expansion to the next level.

What does it take to be a hero?

You will be responsible for hiring skilled sales employees to recruit local shops for LuggageHero. As part of this, it is crucial that you understand and connect with our brand and values. The position requires that you are able to travel up to 24 weeks in 2019. You thrive in an international environment and you love traveling as much as we do!

You will manage and lead sales employees across different cities, therefore you are expected to have great coordination and communication skills. You will be main responsible for making sure the sales team has the tools required and deliver the expected results. It is great if you have previous experience working in a startup, but not a requirement. Previous work experience is a similar role is a plus as is great language skills in English. A passion and drive for working in a busy, dynamic startup is a must in LuggageHero.


Tasks and responsibilities

  • Recruit and manage local sales employees
  • Train and develop sales team
  • Daily planning and communication with sales team and HQ
  • Monitor and report data from sales employees
  • Up to 24 weeks of traveling can be expected


Weekly hours: Full-time

Salary: Based on qualifications

You are expected to be based in Copenhagen

Danish founder and CEO Jannik Lawaetz started LuggageHero in 2016 in Copenhagen with 50 drop off-points. In 2017 the company expanded to London and New York with more than 350 storage locations. In 2019 LuggageHero expanded to +36 new cities and currently has more than 1000 storage partners globally spread across Europe and North America. Despite being slowed down during the pandemic, in 2021+2022 the company has plans to expand additionally and get further funding.
