Are you an ambitious Backend Engineer with a passion for clean, well-tested code, who takes pride in developing robust and scalable systems that allow real customers to realize their projects?

Our goal is to create highly scalable and performant experiences to help thousands of Artists and Arts Organisation to collaborate and stage great artistic productions together. As a Backend Engineer, you will join an autonomous, cross-functional agile team that will be trusted with the product vision and strategy to deliver real value to customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Develop robust, scalable and high performing web applications
• Be part of exploring future system design and improving our architecture in a complex domain
• Bring excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and communicate your ideas
• You will help the team plan, design and shape responsive web solutions
• Monitor, test and continuously optimize your designs
• Deliver modern, testable and maintainable code
• Enrich our current continuous test and delivery methods
• Share knowledge, encourage best practices and keep evolving professionally

WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO BE:

• Confident in developing, maintaining and running Node.js web services. Python and PHP is a plus
• Familiar with best practices for Linux servers or Docker containers, especially AWS
• Fluent with some of the most popular web technologies, i.e. HTML, CSS, JSON, XML, HTTP, WebSockets 
• Knowledgeable with Database design and maintenance with MySQL and MongoDB
• Experienced with search engines like ElasticSearch, Solr or Lucene
• Experienced working in agile developer teams with automatic testing, continuous deployment, and peer code reviews
