We are expanding our fast growing team and seeking a Business Developer & Account Manager to help us fulfill our vision to be the world’s leading bike-sharing platform. It's exciting times for Donkey Republic as we are scaling our bike services and expanding all across Europe.

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join us and spearhead launching of Donkey fleets in Holland and Germany. We believe success comes from working together well as a team, therefore you need to be a team player and thrive in an environment where we are all working towards shared goals. 

You will join a small business team and be working closely with our Chief Sales Officer to build our partner and affiliate pipeline, in addition to the strategy around it. You will be in close contact with Donkey Republics’ partners (typically bike shops) and be in charge of ensuring their success, In this regard you will be based in our Copenhagen HQ, but you will be spending a lot of your time working remotely in cities across Europe with a special focus in Germany and Holland. You will be visiting the cities for 2-3 weeks at a time to help partners gain traction with their fleet, set up effective operations, create affiliate and partnership deals, find ways to promote and market Donkey Republic locally etc. 

We expect you to :

• A strong communicator, written as well as oral
• Good at building relationships and trust
• Be self-reliant and good at taking initiative
• Be a team player
• Enjoy interacting with other people
• Have an understanding of business fundamentals (either from school or previous work experience)
• Spend about half of your time traveling mostly in Dutch and German cities
• Be value driven
• Be fluent in English
• Be fluent (native) in either German or Dutch (preferably both)

• Have worked with startups before - bonus if you worked in travel or mobility space

Donkey Republic is a bike share service set out to revolutionize the way we transport ourselves. Our in-house developed smart-lock is operated through the users’ smartphones which provide us the flexibility required to change the way bike sharing works. We do not own or operate bikes, instead, we work closely with local partners all over the world to spread the reach of Donkey Bikes. We are based in Copenhagen, Denmark and our service is spreading all over the world.
