Aidbuilder is experiencing strong growth and we are expanding our team with multiple positions. Among these, Business Developer Representative (BRD) position, for a minimum of 15 hours per week.

Job Summary

This is a unique student job where you get the privilege to help the charity sector harness technology and scale their impact while building valuable consultative selling skills.

We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) with responsibility for building your own sales pipeline. We’ll teach you how our platform works, how to present it, value-based selling techniques, who to call, and their reasons for choosing Aidbuilder.

A successful BDR is a motivated self-starter who is hungry for a challenge. Your high-energy and professional persistence will drive your targeted, outbound prospecting activities into a set of assigned accounts. The BDR’s main focus is identifying, developing and creating new business opportunities in specific territories.

Main tasks

- Methodically qualify, build, and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities; maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, and social selling. 

- Skillfully deliver web-based presentations, leveraging strong product knowledge and sales best practices.

- Plan approaches and pitches. Work with team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.

- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

Qualifications/Skills

- 0.5-1+ years of sales experience

- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills

- Competitive spirit and negotiating prowess

- Strong desire to work for a tech start-up

- Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude

- Ability to take initiative

Preferred skills (not mandatory)

- Foreign language is a plus e.g. Spanish, German, French or Dutch. In most cases, any foreign language would be beneficial to this position as we have a global reach.

- Tech-related sales experience is a plus
