Your focus will be to acquire new national and international partners to accommodate our current situation of exponential growth, as well as nurse the current partnerships.


TechBBQ is the largest and oldest tech entrepreneurship summit with almost 6 years under the belt, going from a beta conference at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange in 2013 to 4000 guests at Øksnehallen in 2017.

We aim to further tech entrepreneurship and innovation in Denmark as well as get Denmark and the Nordics on the map as an important European innovation hub. We are the annual event where everyone from the environment meet to celebrate the successes, learn from the failures, nurse established network and make new ones. Every strong entrepreneurial hub has its flagship event - and TechBBQ is Denmark’s.

As a Business Development Assistant at TechBBQ, you will be part of driving the revenue optimisation and sales of TechBBQ. You will work closely with our CxO, COO and event team. We are looking for a go-getter with an entrepreneurial mindset. Someone who can work on an individually level, towards a specific goal, but also thrive in a team driven environment.

 

Your tasks include:

- Corresponding to new potential partners (C20 and ambitious companies)

- Answering enquiries from the above mentioned and existing partners

- Lead generation and general revenue optimization

- Part of closing the deals and getting them signed

- Helping out other teams on an ad hoc basis - we're in this together!

 

You are:

- A go-getter and self-starter

- A team player, but also understand how to work independently within the team

- Entrepreneurial minded and want to get to know the world of entrepreneurs.

- You thrive in a hectic environment where the pressure increases the closer we get to the event days and your workday might change directions in a blink of the eye.

 

With experience/skills in:

- Sales

- Cold calling/writing

- Understanding of revenue optimisation

- Lead generation

- Understanding how Marketing & Sales play together

- Negotiation

- Fluent in English, speech and writing

This is a volunteer position for a min. 20 hours/w.

We expect you to be part of the team starting as soon as possible and up until the event in September.
