Bownty is looking for a Business Development Intern with the skills, drive and mindset to expand our partner relationships across all markets. The role is projected to be part-time around 15 hours a week depending on the candidate and the agreed scope of the role.

The right profile will be responsible for commercial partner related activities. This includes selling the new partners, negotiations, upselling to existing partners, reporting and driving value for all parties. There are currently 160 long term partner sites that Bownty sends traffic to across several markets. The role also includes data handling and excel based analysis/processes. 

We expect you to be a perfect fit in a young organization, know your way around internet terminology, feel at home in the experience economy, understand our business model and arrive with your digital toolbox ready to be deployed. You’ll work closely together with the CEO. 

A week at the office could include the following tasks 

  • - Identify and initiate dialogue with new potential partners 
  • - Answering emails from partners.
  • - Negotiating commission levels and ensuring we create and capture value for partners.
  • - Upselling premium exposure products to existing and new partners.
  • - Sparring with the CEO on new initiatives
  • - Participate in - and contribute to - internal team meetings
  • - Having a laugh at our Friday bar.

You should

  • - Be comfortable talking to new and existing partners. 
  • - Have some simple experience with Excel.
  • - Have a commercial background in business or marketing related fields.
  • - Be fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing. Danish is a plus.
  • - Use data in your decision-making and understand how internet advertising works.
  • - Be ambitious and driven - and feel at home in a young and multinational organization .
