As a Business Development Manager at REKKI, you will be responsible for engaging with world class chefs and restaurants, demonstrating the app and wowing them with your knowledge and ability to relate to the issues in the hospitality world that REKKI can help solve.

What will you be doing?

Are you highly organised, a multi-tasker, and good at problem-solving? Do you want to join a high performing team in a fast-paced company? As a Business Development Manager at REKKI, you will be responsible for engaging with world class chefs and restaurants, demonstrating the app and wowing them with your knowledge and ability to relate to the issues in the hospitality world that REKKI can help solve.

As a Business Development Manager you will be at the forefront of our global expansion. This will include travelling to new cities with the intent of launching new markets and acquiring new users. Top performers will be given the opportunity to grow and flourish into more senior roles and spearheading launches in new territories.

Your day to day tasks will be:

  • Researching prospective new business opportunities and potential REKKI users.

  • Converting referrals and leads generated by the current user base.

  • Arranging meetings with decision makers face to face or on the phone by calling and by walking in to existing and prospective clients.

  • Pitching to decision makers , selling the benefits of the app, closing and handling objections.

  • Communicating and collaborating with your line manager and team daily.

  • Working to hit a weekly and monthly target and keeping on top of your sales pipeline.

  • Retaining current clients with strong account management skills.

  • Using your initiative and resources given by your manager.

  • Being creative by coming up with new ideas to be as efficient as possible to develop the business and our user-base.

  • Fortnightly team meetings to discuss sales strategies.

 

What you'll need:

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates who:

  • Exude passion. You are infatuated with the restaurant industry and obsessed with improving the lives of the people that work in it.

  • Crave a challenge. You like pushing boundaries and going the extra mile. You are ambitious and highly motivated.

  • Highly confident. You are comfortable networking with different types of people and finding ways to collaborate with them to help launch and grow REKKI.

  • Consistently take initiative. You are confident in working with limited resources under tight deadlines, and not afraid of going into the field on the ground level. Constantly changing environments do not phase you.

  • Have an international mindset. You enjoy travelling for periods of time and feel comfortable embedding yourself in a new city and culture. You speak English fluently but additional languages are a plus.
