Bownty helps consumers get the most out of their city by collecting and curating the best value for money experiences from hundreds of partner sites. You’ll be part of an ambitious startup on an exciting mission.

Bownty is looking for a Business Intelligence Intern with the skills, drive and mindset to help us analyse data. The role is projected to be part-time around 15 hours a week depending on the candidate and the agreed scope of the role.

The right profile will be responsible for reporting, analysing data and tracking our business performance. This includes weekly reporting tasks, data input, querying the database and looking at our analytics tools. With the right fit the role might also in the future contain finance related tasks. There are currently 160 long term partner sites that Bownty sends traffic to across several markets that we try to optimize our relationship with. The role also includes ad hoc data handling and excel based analysis/processes.

We expect you to be a perfect fit in a young organization, know your way around internet terminology, feel at home in the experience economy, understand our business model and arrive with your digital toolbox ready to be deployed. You’ll work closely together with the CEO.

A week at the office could include the following tasks

- Monitoring business performance through our dashboards

- Handle ongoing reporting and supporting the team with data needs

- Ad hoc analysis of different issues and optimizations

- Querying the database though SQL input to get data returned.

- Feeding the system with data generated from analysis.

- Participate in - and contribute to - internal team meetings

- Having a laugh at our Friday bar.

You should

- Be comfortable handling data and seeing relations.

- Have some experience with Excel (and SQL is a plus, otherwise you'll learn).

- Have a commercial background in business or marketing related fields.

- Be fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing. Danish is a plus.

- Use data in your decision-making and understand how internet advertising works.

- Be ambitious and driven - and feel at home in a young and multinational organization .
