Soundtracktor is an online music licensing tool connecting music makers with movie makers. Our mission is to empower composers to build their own web shop for them to license music in a smart way. We have a working product that is ready to go into beta-testing, and if everything goes as expected we can get to revenue within 2019.
Position
- We are looking for a person to follow us on this exciting journey, focusing on the product, design, onboarding and customer journey .

Your tasks
- Key member of the founding team defining and driving product vision and accompanying road map for Soundtracktor, creating value for music composers and their clients.
- You will be in charge of Design, UX/UI and Product. It is your responsibility that the final product is cooler than anything else out there. Beside designing the product, as Chief Product Officer you will also act together with the CEO and the CTO as a chief marketing officer by leading the main activities for marketing and advertising product benefits to the users/clients including onboarding composers and keeping retention.
- Interact closely with aforementioned stakeholders to translate user needs into tangible and value creating product offerings
- Bring expertise with analyzing and understanding organic behavior and actions, to improve and optimize the models and approaches of understanding users.
- Build, maintain and expand our user-facing features that directly leverage our position as the current market leader, including things like search functions
- Work closely together with our CTO in translating your “why” into his “how”.
- Knowledge of coding in React a plus
Status
As we are bootstrapping now, there is no salary until funding has been secured. But as we have a MVP ready, we expect to get market validation and customer traction within 4-6 months, and subsequently raise a first round.
Work hours
Until funding is secured, we would expect you to work 8+ hours per week.
