Salary Competitive

Does the idea of spending your days actively building a community among 170 entrepreneurs excite you? We are looking for a community builder who can take our thriving fintech community to the next level.

Community Builder for network of 170+ entrepreneurs at Copenhagen Fintech Lab

In our Lab at Christianshavn we have since October 2016 built a space that houses 47 startups covering 5 floors. The Lab is more than a co-working space, it is an innovation hub for startups and corporates, a nordic gateway and an incubator with the goal of building a thriving fintech ecosystem. To build a thriving fintech ecosystem we need a strong and continuously evolving community. The goal of our Community Builder is to find & execute ways to grow and engage our community.

We are looking for a person who is a strong communicator (English & preferably Danish), loves engaging with entrepreneurs, a perfect host and is able to tackle a variety of different day-to-day tasks. Experience within finance/fintech is not a requirement - but you should be curious to learn as you need to know what interests and drives the community. We are looking for a person that has experience and knowledge of building communities both online and offline. You are a natural problem-solver and motivated by responsibility and working in a diverse team of ambitious people.

Your responsibilities include

  • Having regular talks with our entrepreneurs to keep the pulse of our residents
  • Co-create topics for events & activities for our community such as pitch sessions, fuck-up nights & Friday bars
  • Event management of our many events in the Lab
  • Help finding and interviewing new exciting entrepreneurs to join our house as space becomes available
  • Several office/facility management responsibilities to make sure the practicalities of the Lab runs smoothly (we are a small team so that also includes restocking the fridge)
  • Run our social media accounts on Facebook & Instagram as well as update our website

The Copenhagen Fintech Lab is managed by Talentgarden Rainmaking - as a Community Builder your direct manager will be Oliver, the General Manager of the Lab. This means that you will also receive support from Talentgarden Rainmaking which runs 22 co-working spaces across Europe. Our Community Builder will also be part of the Copenhagen Fintech team, which is the team behind the association and run all activities beyond the Lab. We are an ambitious and entrepreneurial team - we welcome all new ideas and encourage you to take initiative and experiment.
