Community Manager Germany (maternity cover)

Momio is a social media for kids. As Community Manager you will make sure that Momio is safe and fun for our users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

We expect you to be interested in social media and to share our belief that children have the right to participate in online communities on their own terms. These qualities are more important than your previous work experience, but it will be an advantage if you have worked with customer service or children.

You will be in charge of the following:

• Writing content and support texts in German
• Translating from English to German 
• Keeping our products safe working with SAFEGUARD – our own internet safety system and processes
• Answering support emails from users and parents or guardians
• Managing German speaking volunteer moderators online
• Conveying local user insight to product and campaign development
• Cooperation with NGOs and other partners in Germany

You need to be fluent in German on a native level.

The position is full time. You will mainly work Monday to Friday during office hours from our office in Copenhagen. Occasional weekend work is expected. You will work in an international team of Community Managers and Supporters which provides a diverse and professional environment for exchanging ideas and receiving feedback. 

The position is a maternity cover, starting mid-January 2018. The end date is still open.
