Q&A with Marie Chaudhri and Frederik Due Jensen
Head of Events and CEO @ Volt
What would be a perfect day at Volt?
At the Volt HQ, one of your colleagues greets you with a fresh morning coffee. You'll catch up on the stories from last weekend’s festival, while enjoying the view of the sunny Nørrebroparken from our common table. The weekly morning meeting is constructive, and you are briefed upon how the other departments are progressing, while you’re getting useful feedback to your own work. After a lunch full of laughter, you’ll complete some tasks that you been working on for a few days, and later in the afternoon the event relations team pops a bottle of Cava and announces that we’ve signed another major European event.
How is your social scene?
We go to a lot of festivals together, which is a blast even though you must find the right work/fun balance. We’ll go on a teambuilding trip somewhere remote, doing something challenging and social. Every week we have a meeting where our team is the focus and every month we host a Friday bar where friends are invited as well.
Who would be your ideal candidate?
The ideal new family member in Volt is a passionate professional with a weakness for music festivals! Our work environment is fun, dynamic and ever-changing, so an ideal candidate must be proactive and flexible to bring new ideas to live. Any position at Volt provides a lot of freedom and responsibility, so it is important for us to find people that can thrive in such a framework.
