Chabber is a platform for booking waiting and kitchen freelancers. Our community consists of +15,000 chabbers (freelancers) spread across Denmark and Norway. We're expanding into Holland in Q3 19, and are looking for a kick-ass Country Manager to lead a team of six people. You'll be joining a startup with 23 young, high spirited employees supported by investors/advisors such as Claus Meyer, Morten Larsen (Hungry) and Konrad Kierklo (Miinto).

We're looking for a top talented student to lead our expansion into Holland. You'll be leading a commercial team of six people; four Account Assistants, one Community Manager and one Customer Succes Assistant. You will be the driving force behind making Chabber the biggest hospitality freelance platform in Holland. You will be joining us from the very beginning, and will be recruiting your own team, launching in Holland and growing it for years to come.

What you'll be doing (typical tasks)

A big part of your job is ensuring that your team is performing, but you're also expected to get your hands dirty and lead from the ground. Here are some of the main things you'll be doing: 

• Recruiting/retaining/developing your team members.
• Choosing and communicating the direction for your team. 
• On-boarding big accounts (B2B sales).
• Ensuring that big accounts are satisfied (customer care). 
• Ensuring that our supply-side (chabbers) matches our demand-side (customers).
• Setting up local partnerships.
• Putting out fires along the way.

Who we're looking for

You need to have certain skills (required), but there are also non-required skills that will benefit your application (plus).

• Required: Native dutch language skills.
• Required: Top student (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Required: Plans to stay in Denmark for min. 3 years. 
• Plus: Sales experience.
• Plus: Leadership experience.
• Plus: Startup experience.
