About SendHelpers

SendHelpers is the new leading on-demand platform for connecting individuals looking for household services with top-quality, pre-screened service helpers. From home cleaning to handyman services.

Right now we have built an MVP version of the SendHelpers app in iOS with admin/backend. As we get the first feedback, we will start working on Android. We need your help to define the architecture and take the right decisions in this early stage.


The Job

Your job will be to manage the development and maintenance of the SendHelpers platforms (i.e. iOS- and Android apps, websites as well as the backend systems).

  • You will define the architecture and ensure that we deliver the technology on the goals we set.
  • You will manage and guide the development team.
  • You will be part of the management team and be part of the strategic business decisions.


The salary package will be a combination of salary and direct ownership.


You

  • You have minimum 2-3 years' experience in this field.
  • You have experience with UI/UX, iOS and Android development (native, swift).
  • You have experience with Amazon AWS, hereby DynamoDB and Cognito API.
  • You would like to lead your own team and make the key technology and workflow decisions.
  • You would like to manage and scale a service with thousands of users
  • You would like to be part of a rapidly growing start-up with international ambitions
  • You have preferably a master's degree in computer science, as a minimum a bachelor degree.
  • Experience in working in a start-up is a plus, but not a requirement

SendHelpers are working on different platforms/technologies as iOS, Android (native, swift), and Amazon AWS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito.


Team

You'll be part of a small company that's growing fast. We are a team of three people with a passion for this concept. We are self-financed, which means that the owners of this company is also the management team - which you will be part of.

Right now, the development is outsourced. Our plan is to get development in-house, so you will be able to build your own team.

We are located in Glostrup, Copenhagen.
