Hooves brings horses – one of the most expensive sports in the world – into the sharing economy.

We are looking for a hands-on CTO to develop the new version of Hooves. After a successful MVP iOS app launch, we’re now building a proper, scalable product on both iOS and Android. The decision on whether it will be done native or in a cross-compiled framework (ie React Native) depends on your skillset. And of course you won't be working alone – the whole tech team will consist of 2-3 skilled developers & designers. The core app consists of an "Airbnb" search platform and management tools such as a calendar, diary and task list. 

You will work closely with the founders, but you are also expected to take initiative, be self-driven and work independently on the product. We cover the business part of the company – you rule the tech! And preferably you would be interested in also managing a tech team, as we grow (but it is not a must).

PRIMARY JOB TASKS

• Coordinate and lead the app development
  
• Build the architecture and infrastructure
• Choose the tech-stack yourself
• Plan and drive sprints, manage a small team hands-on, and code yourself
• Implement user tracking based on KPIs set with the team
• Work with designers to achieve a seamless UX and flow
