Then you are probably the one we are looking for!

DANSIC is a non-profit organization that explores the opportunities and challenges of social innovation and entrepreneurship. This year we are working on the nexus between mindfulness and sustainability.

As a volunteer in DANSIC, you will be part of an ambitious group of volunteers from various universities, nationalities and professional backgrounds, all caring about sustainability and social innovation.

In DANSIC we value creativity, diversity and peer-to-peer learning. Moreover, we put an emphasis on socializing together over casual pizzas, Friday bars, Christmas lunches, etc..

THE COMMUNICATIONS CREW

The Communications Crew is responsible for capturing and creating contents on DANSIC in various formats and through several channels, expressing and promoting our message outward. You will work in tandem across the organisation to follow the progress, document the hardships, and celebrate the triumphs #celebratesuccess. You will take care of our external communication in our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter), and our website (dansic.org), to increase the awareness of DANSIC.

We are looking for volunteers that will one or more of the following roles:

• Graphic Designer ie. Production of graphic material, for online and offline use;

• Content Creators ie. creative storytelling;

• Videographer incl. production and post-production;

• Photographer incl. shooting and editing;

• Webmaster ie. administering our WordPress website;

• Marketers ie. Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

The most important is that you have a desire to work with Communications and support social innovation. Previous experience is an advantage, as well as knowledge of Danish, but the will to learn and spread the message of DANSIC and social innovation is more necessary.

As a volunteer in DANSIC it’s important that you are available to:

• Attend the weekly meeting in your crew every Tuesday evening;

• Undertake some ad hoc tasks during the week;

• Attend the monthly social day for all of DANSIC's volunteers;

• Be a part of DANSIC from fall 2019 until late spring 2020, when our Annual General Meeting will be held.
