DANSIC is a non-profit organization that explores the opportunities and challenges of social innovation and entrepreneurship. This year we are working on the nexus between mindfulness and sustainability.

As a volunteer in DANSIC, you will be part of an ambitious group of volunteers from various universities, nationalities and professional backgrounds, all caring about sustainability and social innovation.

In DANSIC we value creativity, diversity and peer-to-peer learning. Moreover, we put an emphasis on socializing together over casual pizzas, Friday bars, Christmas lunches, etc..

THE EVENT DESIGN CREW

The Event Design Crew is responsible for the design, plan and execution of our yearly event in March 2020, where mindfulness and sustainability are in focus. The crew will put ideas into direct action, while including a cross-section of relevant partners & providers, from across Danish society and industry. Moreover, the crew will take care of the planning and the coordination of the event itself, making sure that it meets the DANSIC20 manifesto while creating a valuable impact on society.

We are looking for volunteers that will be responsible for one or more of the following:

• Creation of relevant partnerships;

• Stakeholders analysis and management;

• Event design & planning;

• Coordination and logistics in the field;

• …And any other cool ideas that you will have!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

The most important is that you have a desire to work in Event Design and support social innovation. Previous relevant experience is an advantage, as well as knowledge of Danish, but the will to learn and to create an impactful event on mindfulness and social innovation is more necessary.

As a volunteer in DANSIC it’s important that you are available to:

• Attend the weekly meeting in your crew every Tuesday evening;

• Undertake some ad hoc tasks during the week;

• Attend the monthly social day for all of DANSIC's volunteers;

• Be a part of DANSIC from fall 2019 until late spring 2020, when our Annual General Meeting will be held.
