Tradeshift is looking for a Copenhagen-based, outstanding developer with machine learning experience to join our machine learning R&D team. You will become a member of a small, highly skilled team that works on bringing machine intelligence to various Tradeshift products.

You are strong in several of the following areas:

• Machine Learning, statistical inference or similar
• Building software products based on predictive models is your game
• You can talk passionately about overfitting, SVMs, logistic regression, cross validation, naive bayes, feature extraction, structured prediction, etc.
• You have practical experience building predictive models from real-world data in an area of applied machine learning
• Strong programming skills
• Preferably you have experience with Java or Python and their associated machine learning and data processing frameworks
• Experience with data processing infrastructure such as SQL, Elasticsearch, Amazon Web Services or Hadoop is a plus
• Working experience in structured development and build environments (version control with Git, continuous integration, automated testing, automated configuration and deployment) is a plus

We expect you to:

• Have 2+ years of professional experience, or working knowledge of black magic or robotic revolutions
• Be creative, intelligent, independent and take responsibility. We are looking for a colleague that can challenge us, define new solutions and see them through to implementation
• Be fluent in English speaking, reading and writing
• Know a lot about what's happening in the world of cutting-edge machine learning and be curious about new science, technology, programming languages, frameworks, etc.
