At Byrd we daily hunt for unicorns 🦄 in Asana and like to #️⃣Slack! We’re a bunch of sketchy 🔶Sketch artists who sometimes have a get-together in the Creative Cloud☁️. We’re looking always on the look out for talented intern candidates to help us achieve great things. 💸 We imagine that you are passionate about design and UX and let your mind run wild once in a while.

Byrd is a web- and mobile platform (Web & iOS launched, Android on its way) where media can crowdsource photo and video assignments and trigger-happy photographers can make some money. We work with the largest media organisations in Denmark, and we have just landed clients in our next market. We’ve exceeded growth expectations but to follow that hockey stick 🏒 and to take over the world 🌎 , we’ll need reinforcements.


We always on the look out for talented interns with creative minds and an eye for aesthetics to help us carry out research, testing, build wireframes and design mockups🥇✨. You'd be working on improving all of our apps in close collaboration with Christian, Chief Technology Officer and our UX Designer, Simone. Also, you might be asked to help Mikkel, Chief Marketing Officer, with onboarding or campaign material. All from a creative point of view.



Qualifications:

✅ You must be a go-getter and a quick learner. We don’t expect you to know it all, but we do expect you to be eager to learn.

✅ You have a clear idea of how good products look and constantly consider the user journey when you do wireframes & mock ups.

✅ Experienced or at least familiar with Sketch, Illustrator and Photoshop.

✅ Solid communication skills in English

We’re very ambitious and goal-oriented and we always keep the spirit high. You’ll be part of this journey from the early days and have a impact on our way forward. We’ll make sure you’re fed. We provide a 27’ iMac workstation with all the applications necessary. The desk is adjustable, the chair is comfortable and the coffee is black enough to get praise from Agent Cooper himself. You’ll be working in a challenging and ever-changing environment, which is physically placed in a beautiful co-working space in inner Østerbro, Copenhagen.
