We are looking for a Digital Designer to join our passionate team.

Short about Barry 

• We put the user in the driver seat and continually experiment to learn and develop our offering. Be prepared to talk to the customers yourself, engage in discussions and decisions outside your own domain.
• We don’t expect to know it all straight away, so why should you? You will be working in lean iterations solving a few things at the time, rather than specifying up a giant project that only begin when all the unknowns are known. Then it’s too late.
• We are data a driven energy tech company. We make decisions based on data and embrace new technology to create value for customers. We want to create wow-moments, surprise and delight our customers 

In your role you will:

• Concept new features in close collaboration with Product and UX
• Define and develop the UI design of our app and web pages
• Define, maintain and update the brand’s visual identity, in close collaboration with Marketing and UX
• Create stunning illustrations for web and print.
• Design digital assets for ads, social media, PR as well as prepare printed materials.
• Help plan campaigns, experiments and other activities to drive the business forward
• Work in a start-up where everyone gets to do a little bit of everything, so any other tasks needed to create an awesome product, help in a crisis situation and drive the business forward.

We appreciate you to have: 

• Knowledge and interest in various fields of design such as service design, interaction design, UX research, UX strategy, information architecture, visual design, business development, marketing, CRM and technology/development
• Topnotch creative and illustration skills 
• Proven experience in producing digital screen experiences like apps and web pages.
• Experience with concepting and a visionary perspective on everything you work with
• Familiar with Adobe CC (Photoshop, InDesign, illustrator), Figma or similar design applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills - capability to lead virtual teams
• Degree in design
• Capability to work cross-functionally and internationally in a fast changing environment. You’ll be spending quite a lot of time doing it in collaboration with the rest of the team, so if you’re not a fan of cross-functional teams…Barry might not be your thing after all.
• In start-ups situations and priorities can sometimes change very quickly, so you are open to changes in priorities, understand the value of rapid prototyping and are used to high pace of working and getting shit done.
• Understanding of the “new economy” businesses and business models and how change could be facilitated through new and emerging technology
• A positive can-do attitude, hands-on approach and a huge appetite for learning
• Fluent in Danish, excellent in English both written and spoken.
• Bonus: You have basic knowledge on html/css/JavaScript or React to assist in keeping our component library up to date
• Bonus 2: You are interested in or know basic motion design in order to tweak and experiment with UI animations and transitions
