Everybody can design a beautiful website for a single product. We are looking for the person who can help us shape, and tell the story of our unique digital manufacturing platform and its benefits to the industry.

At stykka, we design and create custom furniture for large scale companies.

We believe in a future without standardized furniture. Instead every design is tailored to fit the exact space and needs of our clients.  

We use cutting edge technology like 3D scanning, digital fabrication, and distributed manufacturing to create new experiences and amazing, sustainable products for an array of clients.

We are looking for an intern to join us for the fall of 2019. Your tasks would be a mix of graphical work and digital storytelling. We would like a person who can work independently and structure your own work week. Part of your task would be to visit customers and document our furniture designs. This should be transformed into digital content to tell the story of how we create custom furniture. Besides storytelling your would also get the opportunity to refresh our online presence and develop graphical templates. This involves updating our websites and unifying the look. It is a good mix of creating new graphical elements and figuring out how to keep everything up to date.

We would like you to be proficient in: 

• Various graphical work. (In a startup nobody has just one job.)
• Taking and editing photos for our website + social media.
• Know your way in Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Updating a WordPress website.
• Being able to conduct simple interviews.
• Translating text and pictures into an interesting story.
• Creating design templates that can adapt to our rapidly changing furniture.
