Rainmaking at Pier47 opened in March 2018 as a collaborative space for corporate innovators and startups. The space is ideally suited for making knowhow accessible among peers - and for that we need an open-minded people person with an ability to map, connect and engage our residents and network. As our new Ecosystem Manager you’ll play an important role in creating value for our internal and external ecosystem, just as you’ll be a valuable part of our ambitious team.


What you'll (love to) do:

  • Connecting the dots: define and initiate collaborative opportunities within our internal and external network. We connect entrepreneurs and corporate innovators. You are able to identify, when it makes sense for them to share resources: talk about learnings from a shared market or product area, give an introduction to a potential new recruitment, funding partner or freelance frontend designer. And sometimes make the introductions that end up becoming new shared ventures.
  • Developing content for our innovation program together with the rest of the team: including ongoing research, coordination, marketing and execution of events as part of our innovation program. The program plays a key role in the house and consists of 1) Open inspirational panel sessions about new technology, digital products and innovative ways of working 2) Tailored workshops about methodologies and approaches and 3) Community events focusing on co-working, professional hygge, knowledge sharing and work hacks etc are.
  • Building a vibrant and professional community of the in-house companies through thorough mapping and daily interactions.
  • Taking part in the daily activities, operations, chats and opportunities that are all part of the everyday life of our lively house.

About you:

  • You are curious about (and have knowledge within) innovation and entrepreneurship.You like to be up to date on technology, future business tools, and new digital products.
  • You are outgoing, social and would love to be part of our small, but ambitious team. We love fresh approaches and in strive to create a culture of proactivity, when it comes to our daily challenges.
  • Community Management comes natural to you and you understand the art of networking.
  • We imagine that you hold a bachelor/master, already have a network linked to the Copenhagen innovation scene, and that you’re fluent in Danish and English. But we also love to be challenged and proven wrong - with great arguments.
