PentaLock is a young startup located in the heart of Aalborg. Founded by two Industrial Designers in 2016. At PentaLock we love bikes and believe everyone is entitled to a nice bike, regardless of price - without fearing getting the bike stolen! Therefore, we're developing a new security system, to be integrated in the frame. The system consists of a locking mechanism located in the crank, smart alarm system, lights, etc. We are currently looking for help! maybe this is you?

We are looking for students for internship (or people to hire), to join a innovative and flexible team. At PentaLock we love people who think outside the box, and we are always looking to expand our team with skilled people.

The internship/hire can feature many different tasks, most important for us is that you participate in forming your own internship - what are you good at and what would you like to become better at? We like you to be a team player, that also can work independently.  

Tasks could be within (you're not required to know them all) :

• System Design: We need help to map the system design and components used. 
• Embedded Software: We need to code the embedded software for our system, both on prototype level as well as version ready for manufacturing and sales. 
• PCB/PCBA: Designing the PCB-board with hardware components, etc. 
• Hardware: What components to use, etc. 
• Ad HOC: The workflow of a startup is changing a lot! Some days are hectic and stressful, others very relaxed.

To summarize you get an opportunity to join a innovative team - and be a part of a journey from idea/design to production/manufacturing and everything in between.

We are very open and transparent, so if you want, you can get an insight in how a startup works... this could be Legal Stuff, Accounting, Pitching, Applications, Networking, Design, Manufacturing, etc.

We love good humor and like to have fun when working! It should be fun to go to work and not a pain or something that has to get over with.
