Polisensio is a clean-tech company providing services of urban air quality monitoring, analytics, real-time air-pollution distribution maps and actionable insights for (smart) cities. We accomplish this via a Hardware, Software and love-for-the-environment solution.

Polisensio is looking for an eager Front End developer to build and implement UI components for our pollution data analytics and monitoring platform, the polimonitor.

What you'll do:

• Developing new user-facing features and components using React.js
• Optimizing components for maximum performance
• Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Work alongside our back-end developer to assure stable and efficient functionality and integration with the back-end systems
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Collaborate on all aspects of application design and development
• Make suggestions, ask questions

Nice to haves + willingness to learn:

• 2+ years responsive web development experience
• 1+ year React development experience
• Proficiency in React/HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/jQuery
• Proficiency in DOM Manipulation
• Proficiency in Node.JS
• Familiarity with GIT code versioning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs

Bonus points:

• Passion for developing functional and beautiful applications
• Passion for green tech, sustainable cities and saving the world
• Familiarity with GraphQL APIs
