ArchitectureQuote is a deal flow software and collaboration platform for the Architecture Industry aimed to disrupt discovery of new opportunities for architects and connect customers more easily with the work desperately needed to get done. We aim to disrupt the architecture industry through a modern and optimised approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• MEAN Stack understanding of development processes and basic proficiency in all areas

• Hands-on development of our product and website, which includes development of HTML/CSS and web pages based on wireframes and visual designs, and implementation of commercial and open source web technologies

• Development of dynamic and engaging web functionality using HTML, JavaScript and Angular

• Turn Photoshop or Adobe XD mock ups into responsive web pages using HTML5, CSS, and Javascript

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Work closely with our design team to produce landing pages and subpages in wordpress

• Thoroughly test your work on multiple browsers and mobile devices

• Demonstrate effective communication with fellow team members and management

• Rapidly prototype ideas in order to learn what works and how to elevate concepts to the next level

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS & JavaScript and jQuery production (React / Angular bonus)

• Familiar with JS tools

• Experience writing code from scratch

• Experience creating graphics from scratch using Photoshop/Illustrator or similar software

• Experience testing and debugging work on multiple browsers & screen sizes

• Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, owning deadlines and striving for efficiency

• Familiarity with GIT, Jira, Redmine, or similar project management and issue tracking software

• Working knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, Web standards and usability

• Familiar with interaction design and information architecture methods and principles

Extra Points for the Following:

• Develop animations, navigation, interactivity, etc., using jQuery or other JavaScript libraries

• Experience migrating web pages from Wordpress with visual composer (WPBakery) to a static site

• Responsive design experience + hand-coded breakpoints

• Knowledge of web analytics and experience implementing and testing tags

• API integrations
