BalancAir is a medtech and digital health startup developing a new generation of novel, digital enabled, consumer devices for treatment of a range of neurological disorders. We are currently looking for a high performing, skilled and driven full-stack developer that want to join our fast growing team of experienced entrepreneurs and lead the charge in developing a world class software experience

We are looking for a driven, organized, creative and well-rounded, full stack developer with deep knowledge across a range of technologies, who can complement our hardware team and take charge and own the development of our core mobile apps as well as e-commerce website, blog, etc.

As an early joiner and first true software developer you will be right in the middle of the action and work closely with design, strategy and marketing to find the optimal solutions for the product and company, but must also be ready to take on a leader role and manage both freelance and/or in-house software developers.

What you will be doing:

• Directly involved in ideating, scoping and designing the mobile and web applications to complement and integrate with the hardware elements in our solution
• Own all sides of the software development efforts - from the core product to the e-commerce website and blog, as well as both development and production systems
• Perform DevOps assignments, database and system administration. You will be deploying, automating and maintaining production systems
• Code reviews, testing and quality assurance
• Documentation of code and systems
• Create and present development plans including setting mile stones, estimating time and resource needs, etc.
• Lead freelance and/or in-house software developers

What you bring:

• A computer science or software engineering degree (highly regarded but not required)
• 4+ years of full stack developer experience from both web and mobile applications
• Strong understanding of mobile and web technologies as well as user experience design
• A track record of building high standard web and mobile applications
• Passion for quickly learning new technologies, languages and frameworks and the ability to put it to use
• Experience launching and running high scale digital solutions in a production environment
• Highly structured, data driven and capable of strategic thinking, with the ability to put it into writing in a well-thought-out plan
• A hands-on attitude – As an early joiner we expect you to solve problems and get things done, no matter the obstacles, both alone but also in collaboration with the rest of the team
• Tenacity to keep going until the product is bug-free and with the wow-factor that customers expect from a world class software product
• Fluent in English. Highly proficient in both spoken and written Danish is a plus, but not a requirement!
