As a Full-stack Software Engineer at Blackbird, you will become part of the Blackbird development team. Blackbird is part of emendo Consulting Group, which consists of a total of 72 employees spread across Denmark, USA, and India. Your focus will be on working with next-generation web applications and IoT, and you will therefore work with JavaScript/TypeScript and technologies such as Node.js, React, Serverless, Docker, GraphQL, CI/CD, both SQL and NoSQL, Git and AWS. Blackbird is developing the future IoT solutions in the field of data collection in productions, and as we are a small startup in a larger company, there are a lot of opportunities to influence our joint journey and the choice of technologies used.

You will be working closely with a group of competent software developers in a professional environment with a non-formal atmosphere. You will gain experience developing our generation 2 system, which is a SaaS solution built on full-stack TypeScript (React + Node.js), and your area of responsibility will grow as you build experience. You will be joined by an experienced colleague, who through ongoing conversations will act as your mentor and ensure that you thrive and develop both professionally as well as personally.

Your base will be at our office in Nordhavn, close to Nordhavn st. (best view in Copenhagen!), where you will enter into a collaborative environment and modern office environment together with your team.

Who are you?

· Experienced programmer preferably with a degree in computer science, software engineering or similar.

· Self-driven with a passion for programming.

· Team-oriented and collaborative nature.

· Fundamental drive to learn new things and a strong focus on self-development.

· Honest, optimistic and a positive mindset.

· Previous experience with JavaScript, React and Git (bonus if you also know NoSQL and distributed scalable systems).
