Vivino is seeking an experienced Go developer for our Copenhagen office, ready to join a vibrant start-up, building the world's #1 wine app and website – as soon as possible. You'll join our data team, building APIs and daemons to process our wine, user and price data in ways that enable our users to get better insight into wines and find great wines to buy.
Your tasks
- Implement new features, APIs and daemons
- Program concurrent systems in Golang.
- Model data flows in a variety of backend systems.
- Integrate price-feeds from Merchants.
- Analysis of bugs and optimization issues.
Your profile
You have professional experience and identify yourself more with the virtues of a great developer, rather than specific languages and frameworks. You excel at working with complicated datasets and you have experience with both statically typed languages as well as dynamic scripting languages. You also understand object orientation and concurrent execution models. You're familiar with Test Driven Development. You are a curious, communicative person who is eager to learn.
You are ready to join a startup with few formal procedures and limits. You're not an asshole.
