Labster develops fully interactive advanced lab simulations and combines these with gamification elements such as an immersive 3D universe, storytelling and a scoring system to stimulate curiosity and highlight the connection between science and the real world.

Role purpose

The People Team department's purpose is to develop and maintain a strong organizational, structural, and cultural human capital foundation that actively supports Labster’s strategy, mission, and vision. The team currently holds 4 members.

Your responsibilities

• Assisting with all internal and external People related inquiries or requests

• Ensuring the integrity and correctness of data in HRM systems, such as employee records and contracts

• Maintaining and update HR policies, procedures, and guidelines for all employees in Labster

• Assisting with the recruitment processes by identifying candidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts

• Supporting new Labsterians in the onboarding process

• Scheduling meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas

• Coordinating and logistically supporting training sessions and seminars

• Performing orientations and update records of new team members

• Creating and submitting HR reports when needed

• Assisting with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects

• Occasionally, supporting other assigned functions

Your profile

• You have a relevant educational background, e.g. in human resources management

• You have 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained at a tech company

• You are a confident speaker, proficient in English (written and spoken)

• You are empathetic, with a high level of integrity

• You are resourceful and flexible, with a high level of accountability

• You are tech-savvy - ideally, you know Gsuite, MS Office and most importantly, you are not afraid of learning new tools (overall, we are tech company)

• Previous experience with Application Tracking System and HRM systems
