Auricle is a Copenhagen based startup which is creating an innovative solution for the personal audio electronics experience. In this startup, we all believe in this common dream, to bring this new product with new possibilities to life and to the ears of the world. Auricle is looking for an industrial designer with mechanical engineering skills (or the other way around) who loves prototyping and designing novel, sleek and innovative wearable tech products.

You like to get your hands dirty with:

 • Sketching prototyping ideas;

 • Prototyping new designs with your hands and materials;

 • Materials knowledge for product design;

 • Mechanical knowledge for product design;

 • 3D product design (i.e. fusion360, SolidWorks, CAD, etc);

 • 3D printing (optional);

 • Surveying experts and potential users (optional);

 • other design knowledge/practical skills, i.e. Graphic, Web (optional).

Professional mindset and personality

We care about your motivation levels and the synergy between colleagues MORE THAN grades, the years of experience and the amount of projects and softwares you've learned (that you probably don't even remember anymore, naturally). In other words, it's expected that you are:

 • Creative;

 • A collaborative team player;

 • A fast learner;

 • Solution driven (rather than overcomplicating things);

 • Resourceful;

 • Self-motivated (and stupid questions are ALWAYS allowed and encouraged!);

 • Fascinated by the startup scene and not just looking for a job;

 • Live in Copenhagen (or close to);

 • Fluent in English.
