Rainmaking at Pier47 opened in March 2018 as a collaborative space for corporate innovators and startups. The space is ideally suited for making knowhow accessible among peers. Thus, with our Innovation Program we uncover the most interesting future business tools, new digital products, mindsets, and methodologies through open events and resident-only events. To continue developing the program and to help running the planned events, we are looking for an intern to join our ambitious team

As our new Innovation and Event Intern, you’ll be co-developing the content for the event program and be part of the event coordination and execution and - not least- a valuable part of our small and happy team.

Tasks:

• Ongoing research for our innovation program – approaches, methodologies, new products, best practices, work hacks etc.
• Reaching out to potential speakers and facilitators.
• Co-developing content for events together with our Innovation Manager - for residents at Pier47 as well as for external guests
• Being part of the planning, coordination and execution of the events
• Assisting with the communication of the events

About you

• You are curious about innovation and entrepreneurship and you like to stay up to date with new markets and technology.
• You are outgoing, social - and would love to be part of an informal and proactive team spirit.
• You are not afraid to pitch in new ideas or share your knowledge and enthusiasm with the rest of the team.
• You’re organized and you appreciate structured and well-planed events
