We are looking for an intermediate full stack developer who can assist us with expanding the platform at our office in Vesterbro, Copenhagen.


Who you will be working with

We began our tech-business adventure back in 2014. Since then our startup has experienced rapid growth. Today Legal Desk consists of a team of nine; a lawyer, a communication team consisting of two people, two full stack developer, a UX designer, a sales/customer support person and two founders. What we all have in common is that we all have a nerdy obsession with each of our work field, and our love for building new stuff and watching it grow!

About Legal Desk

Legal Desk is a startup with a strong focus on democratizing law and enabling ordinary people and small businesses to address their legal needs in an easy, fast and cost-efficient way. In that sense consumers and businesses are enabled to create their own legal documents on our digital platform. When generating the documents we rely on user input via forms, open data from the government and we have begun looking into natural language processing and machine learning to interpret relevant documents.

Your qualifications

Ideal candidates will have the following background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related fields.
  • 3+ years experience of software development.

 

Need-to-have high level of experience in:

  • Back-end: C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web Services, MS SQL Server, Entity Framework, Dependency Injection (Autofac)
  • Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, KnockoutJS, Typescript

 

Nice-to-have experience in:

  • Umbraco CMS
  • uCommerce - eCommerce platform
  • WCF
  • SignalR
  • Azure cloud services (web and worker roles)

 

Other skills:

  • Experience with object-oriented analysis, design and programming.
  • Experience with Unit-testing.
  • Git branching strategy.
  • Azure App Service and VMs configuration.
  • Clean code style: Understanding what makes good code architectural design.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to adapt and apply rapidly changing technology to business needs.
  • Experience of working in an agile SCRUM development environment.
  • Critical mind and strive for a perfect solution.
  • Excellent English oral, written and presentation communications.

Legal Desk is bringing automation to the legal industry in order to democratize the drafting of legal documents. We combine our knowledge and experience with law with the potential of technology to offer our customers a valuable alternative to the traditional lawyer service. Our intelligent software asks the same questions that a lawyer would and automatically generates your legal document ready for signature. We offer legal documents for private use as well as business.
