TrainAway is a tech start-up with the purpose of making it easier for travellers to work out when on the move – so read on if you want to be a part of the growing digital economy! We are looking for an intern for design combined with marketing tasks as soon as possible. At TrainAway you will be part of a growing company and that means responsibility and many different kind of tasks!

Internship as multimedia designer

If you are independent and thrive with responsibility and finds it interesting to be part of a new company TrainAway is for you. Since we depend heavily on our platform development skills are much appreciated but not a must.

Your educational background

We imagine that you are in the last part of you bachelor at KEA or CPH business or another relevant study. If you are not studying one of the above mentioned, but are in to working with design and multimedia and have a relevant profile we would be happy to hear from you.

You will get experience with the following tasks

• Designing an App and website
• Creating graphical material for marketing and communication
• Handling a website and app
• Learning about working in an international start-up
• Project management
• Learning about starting a tech company
• Making commercial videos
• Possibly development tasks in
• Backend/frontend depending on qualifications
• Node.js
• Swagger/OpenAPI

Your competences

• Great English proficiency oral and written
• You are great at creating new ideas and can work independently 
• You have experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and similar
• You have experience with UX-design
• Knowledge about basic development both backend and frontend
• Knowledge of Google's Material Design and Apple's iOS Human Interface Guidelines is a plus
• Experience with video overlays and light editing is a plus
• Thrive with handling different assignments

About the company

The company was founded in 2017 by three partners who has background in Management Consulting and Private Equity from, McKinsey, PwC and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. We are expecting a busy year, which means many exciting assignments and projects. Our head office is at Nørreport and has a relaxed atmosphere. The working climate is creative and informal and there is room and a need for everyone to pitch in. We are flexible and there will be the option of working and there will be an option to work at home and we are aware that you have one or several projects as part of your studies.
