Donkey Republic is looking for a Junior Accountant to work on debitor and creditor management, reconciliation and financial reports. It's a great position for anyone with a few years of experience and a desire to grow professionally and personally. You will report directly to our CFO.

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the CFO and other departments by managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and have a high level of attention to detail. The goal is to contribute to the processes in the department and help the company be fully aware of its financial condition, so we make the right decisions and can accomplish our long term growth targets

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Financial accounting as well as debtor and creditor management, including updating accounts receivable and issue invoices as well as updating accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Provide financial status information, including monthly reports, as well as by preparing other special reports
  
• Maintain general ledger accounts 
• Working together with other departments in the company as needed
• Assisting in developing budget models

We expect that you:

• Have worked 1-2 years as a junior accountant and have a BSc/Ba (or similar) as background.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Are good with numbers and figures
  
• Pay great attention to detail and deadlines and have structured reporting skills
• Can organize, coordinate and balance multiple-tasks at the same time
• Want to grow and develop professionally and personally

You will refer directly to the CFO. Previous knowledge of E-conomic and MS Office is an advantage.

The Donkey office is located in central Copenhagen, where you will join our team of 25 bike-enthusiastic people from 12 nationalities.
