We’re looking for a Junior Digital Designer with at least 1-2 years of experience to join us at Novorésumé on a permanent basis in an effort to "end galactic unemployment". You will work closely with our Digital Director and our marketing team in order to create digital assets that reflect our branding and message. As our Digital Designer, your mission will be to design the artwork of emails, social media ads, and blog articles; to construct and design landing pages and emails using raw HTML/CSS combined with a variety of online tools such as Instapages or BeeFree; to perform ad-hoc tasks that may involve research, testing and documenting.

You will be responsible for upholding brand consistency and ensure that clear message that relates to our audience is sent.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design digital assets for online campaigns and posts in collaboration with our marketing team.
• Develop article graphic images for our Career Blog in collaboration with our growth and SEO expert.
• It is a necessity that you can replicate the current graphical style or our blog or improve upon it. Please find examples here: https://novoresume.com/career-blog 
• Code, design, and build marketing emails, transactional emails by using a combination of HTML and online tools.
• Design and build landing pages using online tools while making use of your coding knowledge to make specific changes.
• Assist with UX/UI decisions, testing, surveys, and user testing.

REQUIREMENTS

Apart from requiring a passion for creating experiences which inspire and delight audiences, this role requires you to:

• Have a good knowledge of Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign.)
• Understand UX and responsive design and constraints for the web.
• Be able to use HTML/CSS to create websites and emails.
• Be a self-motivated designer, be proactive. take the initiative and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Willingness to learn and not to be afraid to ask for help/clarity.
• A keen interest in and understanding of industry trends and the digital landscape.
• Ability to always put the user first.
• Have the will to end galactic unemployment.
