Media Sifter is the Fact-Based news platform, bringing evidence back to the news. We are a blockchain startup based in Copenhagen working hard to design a new context of media consumption to return accountability back to the readers. Our news aggregation platform built on the blockchain cuts through the noise, agendas, and bias to help people get to the bottom of the story. We want to help journalists get back to what they do best - investigation, and help readers get all the facts.

We are looking for a passionate and junior full-stack web developer that wants to disrupt and rebuild the way we consume media, and hold media accountable.

Joining us initially in Copenhagen, but also with the possibility of relocating if need be. You will become an integral part of the team and the company and help shape the future of both the company and our service.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to apply their skills in a mission-focused environment. You will be working closely with design lead to help build out the smartest technical infrastructure from our service.

Media Sifter is a newly founded social impact driven company, currently based in a startup incubator for design-driven companies, connected with Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design.

We are a multi-disciplinary team following a human-centered design process. We believe in rapid prototyping and constant feedback loops from real people.

We are looking for passionate, dedicated, and general self-motivating attitude to problem-solving.

More specifically, we’re looking for someone with:

- Strong aptitudes with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

- Strong experience with NoSQL databases

- Used/interested in Python

- Used/interested in Angular or React

- PHP Zend framework

- Familiarity with Git
