Sp8ces is redesigning how people work by transforming restaurants and bars that are predominantly only opened during evening into a network of beautiful coworking spots around the city. We are in launch mode, have identified initial partners and expect to open for coworking in September. If you are interested in being part of a startup launch then this opportunity as a lead developer might be something for you. Our initial focus is on Copenhagen but we have international ambitions.

Responsibilities:

You will work with the founder and our external developers to build our website, optimize the use and integrations of our member onboarding software as well as other external backend solutions and build the mobile applications for our future members community services.

As we grow you will also help building our data infrastructure, assist in establishing data analysis processes, dashboards etc.

Requirements:

• Untouchable software development skills and a passion for solving technical problems in a fast paced environment. We hope you can yes to most of these things:
• A track record of building high standard web and mobile applications – fast.
• Full stack developer with experience with PHP, CSS, HTML 5, MySQL, Javascript: jQuery, AngularJS
• Experience with WordPress, plugins, APIs, cloud hosting, databases, caching, responsive design, basic UX and clean UI.
• On site technical SEO best practice implementation.
• Ability to work with Git.
• Knowledge in WordPress security and optimization.
• Experience with the Lean Startup Methodology including MVPs and rapid iterations is a plus.
• Experience with working a non-technical team is a plus.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python or other frameworks is also a plus.
• Self-directed, manage your time effectively and is ambitious. Good project management skills.
• Fluent in English. Danish not a requirement.

About the position:

This an equity based position, although during the first 3 months you will receive a small symbolic salary as we try to find out whether we are a match for each other! You will only be expected to work part time (15-20) for that period. Equity/Options if we decide that we want to hang around for years to come and a competitive salary once we raise additional funding.

We take our own medicine and work from our co-working locations and as a result we have a flexible work culture where we work together some days, while we might be in different Sp8ces locations or from home other days.
