We're looking for a Marketing & Event Assistant

Do you want to tell the stories of some of the most inspiring tech entrepreneurs of the Nordics?

Venture capital fund byFounders is expanding its team, strengthening its marketing and community building efforts. Beyond investing in the next generation of new Nordic early stage tech founders, byFounders is a community of entrepreneurs.

This community is a virtual goldmine of good stories, and as we’re expanding, we need assistance in order to tell more of them in engaging ways. We’re therefore looking to bring on board a student helper to support our marketing, event and PR efforts.

You’ll be working directly with our Marketing & Community Manager, and with time obtain a great deal of creative freedom.

Who are you?

We’re looking for someone creative and thorough, who’s able to work independently with supervision. The ability to build great working relationships is key.

It is a prerequisite that you're currently enrolled in higher education, preferably within business, IT, journalism, communication, or similar with at least one year left of your studies. Most importantly, you have an innate motivation to work with and support the byFounders Community and the next generation of founders. If you have a keen interest in entrepreneurship, technology and/or venture capital, that’s great.

Tangible skills that are valued for this role:

• Writing

• Photo and video editing

• Graphic design

• Event planning

• Knowledge of at least one Nordic language

Responsibilities

The role can to some extent be shaped to the right candidate’s skills/interests, but the most important areas to cover will be:

• Content creation (any format in which you are competent or can be trained - written, video, voice, etc.)

• Social media management

• Media monitoring (in the Nordics and internationally)

• Event coordination

• Ad hoc admin support
