The content you get to work with

We produce 5-30 minute digital experiences, breaking down how film, animation and game creators made their stuff. How did they craft the character designs for Song of the Sea? And how did the team behind Loving Vincent pitch such an ambitious project? We love the nerdy, detailed, in-depth creative process of creative people in all visual arts, and share it with others who love the same stuff. Each week we publish 2 of these pieces. This is the content you get to share and work with.

You have me, the co-founder and digital designer at disposal, meaning you get lots of images and videos to share- all you need to do is A/B test and find out what channels work the best.

Missions

Your daily tasks at the Craft studio will be flexible, but will mainly be to:

  • Collaborate with the team on sharing the content
  • Visualise and track the conversion funnel
  • A/B test and change the funnel accordingly
  • Try different acquisition channels including Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, Reddit
  • Get creative with the copy and media we share
  • Create new missions for yourself and the team!

The current setup

We got Google Analytics, Intercom, Mailchimp, Optimizely etc. going and will be ready to spare with you on customising it for the funnel we want to track. This means you'll be ready to start within a few days, with no requirements of setting everything up from scratch.

Talents

To become part of the team you’re a person who:

  • Some experience or a strong theoretical foundation in A/B testing, paid advertising, conversion funnels and data analysis for marketing purposes
  • Has a good balance between creativity and number crunching
  • Is pro-active and is not afraid to take on responsibility from day one
  • Is quick at executing. Better done than perfect.
  • Is analytical in assessing the day-to-day tasks and month-by-month goal
  • Is interested in the creative industries like films, games and design

Generally this stuff is much more tangible by talking face-to-face. So if you're not scared by the job description, let's grab a Vietnamese sandwich and talk further :)

Working at
Craft

It takes about five years to produce a feature film. The film usually lasts under two hours. This leaves behind a huge amount of beautiful artwork that didn't make it to the screen. This is not only a major opportunity for the content producers, but also a great resource for creatives around the world.Craft sets out to create a learning and inspiration center by giving creatives access to huge amounts of raw material from animation, film, AR/VR and game productions.
