You will be in charge of driving new users and customers to Peergrade and Eduflow through content marketing, social media, community engagement, customer success, and other growth strategies. We expect you to take a lot of responsibility, step up to the challenge and juggle many tasks at the same time.

We build engaging and loved tools to facilitate deeper learning. Peergrade ( lets students learn from giving and receiving feedback from their peers. With Eduflow ( instructors can build incredible learning opportunities for their students by combining a range of engaging and social activities.

Our products are used by hundreds of thousands of people around the world, all the way from middle school history class to sales training at large corporates. We have raised money from investors such as Learn Capital (invested in Coursera) and Y Combinator (invested in Airbnb and Dropbox). You will be in charge of driving new users and customers to Peergrade and Eduflow through content marketing, social media, community engagement, customer success, and other growth strategies. We expect you to take a lot of responsibility, step up to the challenge and juggle many tasks at the same time.


What will you do? 

- Optimize the mix of our content marketing, community marketing, and performance marketing activities. 

- Track and analyze users, customers, and engagement through tools such as Google Analytics, Intercom, Metabase, Hotjar, etc. 

- Manage our social media profiles on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Help curate and schedule content. 

- Write and source short- and longer-form stories for our blog and other editorial outlets. Perform keyword research and optimize SEO. Maintain an editorial/content calendar and publishing schedule spanning all feature content. 

- Talk to journalists and plan out campaigns. 

- Provide insights to the wider team based on experiments with messaging and targeting 

- Determine the tools that you and other teams need, and determine how the company should implement and maintain them


What we are looking for: 

- 2+ years of relevant experience 

- Knowledge of common terms such as CAC, CPA, LTV, etc. 

- Demonstrated success in an innovative, high-growth environment 

- Experience targeting multiple audiences with different use-cases through various paid channels 

- Excellent analytical skills to study campaign performance 

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; must possess strong copywriting and/or copyediting skills. 

- Creativity, positive energy, can-do attitude, and love for startups is a must. 

- Teaching experience is a plus 👩‍🏫

Peergrade lets teachers and students run peer feedback sessions to learn critical thinking, how to give and receive feedback and how to take responsibility for their own learning. We are backed by great investors like Y Combinator and Learn Capital. We are a 9 person team working mostly out of Copenhagen, Denmark. We are a pretty tight group of nerdy people, and fairly international. We eat lunch together every day, eat pizza on Tuesdays (or something healthier) and often drink beers on Fridays. We believe in building a product that works over smart sales strategies.Software allows few people to have a large impact and that happens through a great product. We talk to our users every day, and they share their enthusiasm for Peergrade with us. This is what get us up in the morning. Peergrade is a tool for teachers and students that allows them to run peer feedback sessions. Students submit work and provide feedback to their peers - a process where students train critical thinking, giving feedback and learn to take ownership of their own learning. Peergrade started as a tool for a class we taught and we keep dogfooding our own product to ensure it stays relevant and great. In the end, we are our product.One of the reasons we like to work in a small startup is that we can work with great people - not just because they are smart and extremely qualified, but also because they are great people.We have spent a lot of time together outside of work, for example when the entire team relocated to participate in Y Combinator in the summer of 2017 and lived together in a 3-bedroom for 3 months. Outside of work many people from the team coordinate different social events, but many people also meet on their own time to go concerts, trivia nights, parties and other activities. The last event was a dinner together at a good restaurant in Copenhagen, and the next two are watching the Eurovision Song Contest together and a trip to a local park in Copenhagen for a picnic. Everyone is always invited, most people participate but participation is not required.We believe in feedback - in all forms.We take feedback from our users through Intercom, Satismeter, and by meeting with them every week. People from our team regularly go and introduce new teachers to Peergrade at seminars, conferences and schedule meeting with instructors trying to implement Peergrade. We have monthly 1-on-1’s with everyone on the team and quarterly performance reviews. We try to have a very open feedback culture where everyone can bring up any request to anyone. The only way to avoid group-thinking is to really push each other’s ideas all the time. After each round of 1-on-1’s we change 2-3 things about the way we work on average, from better scheduling of holidays, new sprint structures to finding career mentors for employees.
