We're GameBoks, a Danish startup founded by a group of 21-year-old friends in May, 2018. The GameBoks is a simple, stylish gaming station that makes it easy to bring your console gaming setup from A to B. The GameBoks is currently live on Kickstarter, where we have sold more than a hundred units in less than a week. This great demand means that we will have a lot of work to do, and we are therefore hiring qualified people to come and be a part of this exciting business adventure.

We are looking for part-time marketing manager. You are between 20 and 30 years old, write and speak fluently in English, and able to work 15-20 hours a week in Copenhagen. If you are experienced in website development, PR, or graphic design as well, this would be great advantages.  

The tasks for the job will include:

• Writing drafts for posts to our website, Kickstarter, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter
• Creating a content plan for the coming months in collaboration with our marketing director. 
• Organising and instructing shoots with our camera crew for content production
• Reach out to journalists in an effort of getting GameBoks featured in news media
• Responding to messages from followers on Kickstarter, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. 
• Assess marketing opportunities and assist in the final decision of accepting or declining proposals

About you

At GameBoks, you will get the opportunity to practice what you have been taught in a cool startup with even cooler surroundings. You will be expected to join us on important business trips to meet and talk to our partners in London, Stockholm, and Amsterdam. If we are satisfied with your efforts after an initial trial of a month, you will be able to work when and where it suits you the best. 

Neither of the co-founders of GameBoks are educated. We don't require that you are either. We do, however, have requirements for your mindset towards the job:

• You most often see and talk about solutions and opportunities, not limitations and obstacles
• You are genuinely passionate about marketing, communication, or entrepreneurship in general
• You are well-mannered and portray yourself as a positive person
• You agree to our policy, radical transparency, where we talk openly about bad days at the office and things we do wrong, instead of concealing them.
