We are currently seeking a Paid Media Intern to join us for a 6-month period of theoretical training in, and hands-on experience with, paid SEM and social media marketing work.

Our goal is to help you become AdWords and Bing certified while introducing you to the mechanisms of paid media. By the end of your internship, you will be able to independently navigate through the different tools and platforms which paid media professionals utilise on a day-to-day basis. Furthermore, you will be able to effectively comprehend data and transform it into the actions necessary to scale paid campaigns on a global level.

Your responsibilities

• Work closely with other members of our marketing team, as well as various persons from other departments, to execute and realise tasks and projects.
• Report to the Head of Paid Media.
• Assist with community management on our social channels.
• Execute market research and analysis.
• Test and evaluate new features.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Support marketing team in day-to-day operations.
• Juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to development and implementation of our SEM and social media strategies.

Your profile

Our ideal Paid Media Intern has an analytical mind, is responsible, motivated and embraces challenges, is in love with online marketing and follows newest trends, best practises and stays up-to-date within the industry. Your educational background can stretch anywhere from self-taught to highly educated; what’s most important to us, and to our ideal candidate, is your passion and dedication to developing your online marketing skillset.

• You know the difference between SEM and SEO.
• You take responsibility for your work, excel in time management, and meet deadlines.
• You are a team player, have a can-do attitude, and think in solutions rather than problems.
• You are a skilled multitasker.
• You are user-focused and data-driven.
• You are fluent in English, which is our working language. Knowledge of Dutch, French, German, or a Scandinavian language is a big plus.
