Part time Entrepreneurship Intern

Salary Competitive

New womenswear/accessories fashion brand Girl of the Earth is looking for a part-time Entrepreneurship Intern to directly assist founder/CEO with a variety of tasks and get a truly unique experience at a fashion-startup.

Girl of the Earth brand:

Frequent traveller and GotE creative director, Ruby Sinclair, would shop abroad, then return home to friends asking to buy them the same items next time. After bringing suitcases filled with necklaces from Turkey, sandals from Greece, and, of course, espadrilles from Spain, an idea sparked that is now Girl of the Earth.

You won’t find another brand like us. We curate monthly collections based on what we (and you) want to wear right now. Sometimes that means travelling and shopping for you, flying in artisanal accessories from tiny boutiques abroad— other times we’ll handpick vintage, or design womenswear with eco-friendly deadstock fabric. Everything we sell is super limited, and often even one-of-a-kind. It sucks to wear the same thing as everyone else, so we adore this.

Internship:

This will be a truly hands-on ENTREPRENEURIAL experience at a new fashion startup- the job description is somewhat vague as you will be directly assisting the founder/CEO (me, Ruby Sinclair) with a variety of tasks. Getting the WORD out about girl of the earth, as well as helping launch the first proprietary womenswear collection this April will be your main objectives! Others include:

  • Social Media Marketing
  • Contacting press
  • Finding, communicating with, and gifting bloggers/influencers
  • Writing blogs to increase website traffic
  • Strategising on maximising sales
  • Inventory & supply chain management
  • Customer relationship management
  • Search Engine Optimisation tactics - previous experience is a plus
  • Photographing items & assisting with shoots - a passion for photography and access to a high-end camera is a plus
  • E-commerce operations: website design/copywriting - basic coding skills are a plus
  • Sourcing vintage fabrics (requirements will be provided, like 100% silk, sheer, cotton, under 10 euros per yard, 5 or more yards available, whatever we are looking for at the moment!) - being comfortable on ebay/etsy is a plus

Fluency in English written and spoken is required. Photography skills and access to a high-end camera is a plus.

The internship will take place in cafes in Osterbrø & Nordhavn. We'll start with 2-3 half days per week from 9.30 - 13.30. The job is flexible and can possibly be catered to what you prefer/require for university or other commitments. Coffee will be provided on work days. An assisting trip to Lisbon/Madrid in April/May is definitely a possibility. Please let us know if you're looking for university credit and we can try to work this out.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
