Become a part of a young startup and make your mark at Copenhagen’s new luxurious accessory brand Mermaid Stories! We a young Danish company designing and selling jewelry and women’s watches. Since we have launched our first watch collection in November 2016, our company has recently released its first jewelry collection consisting of earrings and necklaces. Next step: Expansion!

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our team in Copenhagen, close to the Lergravsparken metro station. The internship is unpaid and can be fulltime or part-time, according to your schedule. Starting date: 1st or 15th of August 2018. You should be available for at least 4-5 months.

What you can expect

Your tasks will be

• Planning and implementation of Facebook posts
• Optimization of Facebook ads
• Maintenance of our two Instagram channels and customer requests on social media
• Implementation of new ideas for Instagram interaction with our customers
• New ideas for interesting Instagram Stories and a more personal touch in our social media
• Pinterest marketing
• Developing a structured approach of how to reorganize our influencer marketing activities
• Email reach out to influencers, bloggers and media
• Ideas for and implementation of new press pitches
• PR activities such as press releases etc.
• As in most startups: Fun ad-hoc tasks from all areas

What we are looking for

You should definitely apply if you:

• are a self-starter and full of motivation
• have a good eye for both text and visuals
• like working independently and can manage yourself well to meet deadlines
• like being around people
• are fluent (orally and in written) in English. Fluency in another language, especially Danish or German, is a big plus.
• are organized and have an eye for details
• are "fluent" in social media and have experience in social media marketing and/or PR
