The opportunity

The Product Management team in Cobiro ensures that the products we build are aligned with our customers’ needs and aligned with our product vision. If you plan on starting a career in product management, this is a great opportunity to get familiarised with product management processes and to support decision making.

You'll learn how products are built behind the scenes and what/how to make decisions around how should a product be/behave in order to add value to the end-user.

You will have the chance to learn and get familiar with many tools in the business like Jira, Google Analytics and many other business tools used by product teams around the world.

If you have an understanding, a background, or strong interest in IT/ Development, you will feel right at home.

Responsibilities

As a Product Management Student Worker, you will report to the Director of Product Management and assist the different Product Managers on a diverse set of projects which include:

• Feature evaluation

• Customer segmentation

• Dataset creation

• Market research

Product managers wear many hats and do whatever it takes to get the right products out to the market. Candidates should therefore be comfortable working in an unstructured, fast-moving environment and be quick learners to adapt to changing domains.

Your Knowledge and Skills:

We imagine that you are currently studying within the fields of either IT development or UX/design and still have about 2 years left of your studies. We are looking for candidates who can work between 10-15 hours a week and have the following skills:

Mandatory profile

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

• Must be comfortable with technology

• Experience working with data and doing research

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Interested in product development

Preferred qualifications

• Some understanding of the digital marketing space

• Start-up experience
