Project Management/Operations Management intern

Salary Competitive

Small but fast-growing international software company delivering investigations solutions for Law Enforcement, Government and large enterprises is seeking a highly structured, disciplined and cool-headed Project Management/Operations Management intern to help us get stuff done!

We are looking for a project management/operations management intern for the fall semester of 2019.

We are experiencing an increased need for our help to solve digital investigations challenges for the most important law enforcement units and enterprises in the Nordic region – we’ve recently expanded to Sweden. This means that we need to be more structured in order to retain the premium quality our customers expect. We will still be fun-loving and creative, but we need the right intern to facilitate an innovative agile work style while ensuring our customers are never disappointed. Our work changes rapidly from day to day – so be ready for an internship where prioritising is everything, and communication is key.

The role

In close cooperation with the CEO you will be responsible for keeping track of and coordinating the successful completion of all tasks in the company. In this way you will make sure the technical expertise of the current staff is put to best use.

You will insist on rigorous planning and keeping close track of pending tasks. The tasks will both be involving day-to-day operations and project management.

The team will define the tasks with you, and you will be responsible for putting the tasks into a continuous planning process and make sure the organization adheres to the plan – we may need a reminder once in a while.

We are a small team – so sometimes you will be asked to do tasks not specifically related to your job function, like we all do.

The internship can be either part-time or fulltime.

Qualifications

• You are highly structured and disciplined - it's your job to develop and executive ways of making sure we do what we set out to do.

• Tech savvy - we are a tech company and expect you to have an interest in and understanding of what we do.

• You are insistent - you will have an important and valuable role which you must never let down or others downplay.

• You are robust - we fail all the time. The key is to do better and never repeat the same mistakes.

• You must be fluent in Danish or Swedish.

• Strong English vocal and written skills are required.

• You must be able to achieve significant government clearance in Denmark as well as Sweden. That means no prior arrests or relations to criminals.

Value for you

• The internship is unpaid but you will be rewarded with invaluable experience in what it means to provide highest levels of quality service.

• You will be working with customers that provide great value to society, e.g. law enforcement and government investigative units.

• This job will give you excellent experience of planning and running complex projects.

• Laptop, mobile, internet and any travel expenses are paid by Avian.

Location

You will be working from our base in the buzzing Copenhagen Fintech Lab in beautiful Christianshavn right by the canals.

Interviews

We will meet with candidates as they apply and hire once the right Project Management/Operations Management ninja is found - so don't wait.
