We are currently looking for a high performing, skilled and driven frontend developer that want to join our fast growing team of experienced entrepreneurs and lead the charge in developing a world class software experience

We are looking for a sharp, driven, organized and well-rounded, senior frontend developer with a good eye for UI/UX design, who can take charge and own the frontend development of our web app, member site and e-commerce store.

As an early joiner and second software developer you will be right in the middle of the action and work closely with design, strategy and marketing to find the optimal solutions for the product and company and ensure that ideas are translated into beautiful, robust, high performance technical solutions. You will also have the possibility to both dive into backend development as well as take a lead role managing freelance and/or in-house software developers.

What you will be doing:

• Be an integral part of the team that will ideate, scope and design the customer facing side of our mobile and web applications
• Translate the UI/UX designs and develop them into a modern, dynamic web app, e-commerce store and member site that seamlessly interact with our backend APIs as well as external services
• Work closely with our digital marketing specialist to optimize our digital sales funnel including setting up analytical tools, A/B tests, etc.
• Design and implement unit tests and other automated quality assurance measures
• Deploy code to live systems
• Ensure proper documentation of code and system setup
• Support and potentially lead freelance and/or in-house software developers

What you bring:

• 4+ years of frontend developer experience from both web and preferably mobile applications with a strong track record of building and shipping high applications
• Excellent grasp of mobile and frontend web technologies as well as sharp eye for UI/UX design
• A solid grasp of the fundamentals: HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, JavaScript, troubleshooting skills (i.e. code review, de-bugging, optimizing), cross browser compatibility, web standards and best practices
• Extensive experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS, Angular2, React, Aurelia, Ember, etc.
• Preferably prior experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Magneto, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments (deploy to Ubuntu on AWS)
• Other nice-to-have qualifications: Strong Typescript experience, scripting language experience (e.g. Python, Bash), knows your way around databases, experience working with design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
• Passion for quickly learning new technologies, languages and frameworks and the ability to put it to use.
• Self-starter attitude, highly structured, data driven and capable of strategic thinking, with the ability to put it into writing in a well-thought-out plan, as well as the hands-on tenacity to keep going until the product is bug-free and with the wow-factor that customers expect from a world class software product
• A computer science or software engineering degree (highly regarded but not required)
• Fluent in English. Proficiency in both spoken and written Danish is a plus, but not a requirement!
