WHO WE NEED

We are changing the restaurant industry and we work with the rockstars of the culinary world. Our platform provides an all-in-one suite that can help restaurant owners and chefs run a successful business and we are looking for talented front-end developers to make sure that our applications serve our customers in the best possible way. 

We work with the best of the culinary world, with Chefs that can take the simplest of ingredients and create the most stunning dishes. Your job is to do the reverse; take the complexity of all our backend processes and make it look simple and easy to use for the customer. 

You will be responsible for working closely with our Product team to continually develop our applications, focusing on the customer experience. Your focus will be on writing highly scalable, reusable and clean code. Everything from mockups to presenting finished products will be part of your job.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

•  Scoping development tasks - coming up with creative solutions and ideas.
• Craft data visualisations to intuitively display the performance of different networks and applications.
• Collaborate with Product Designers to analyse user feedback to identify frictional workflows and then build the tools to streamline those processes.
• Create performance optimised, fast and scalable front-end architecture
• Implementing new features and communicating them out to the Customer Experience, Sales and Marketing teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of full-time, industry experience 
•  Experience collaborating on software projects with design and backend aspects
•  Experience writing clean, unobtrusive Javascript including experience with common libraries ( Angular/Vue/React and .etc) and debugging tools (Chrome Dev Tools, etc.).
• Detailed knowledge of native DOM and Event APIS.
• Knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies as well as, browser internals like Javascript Engines and ways to tune code for best performance.
• Knowledge of how to leverage the GPU to enhance rendering performance and knowledge of design patterns such as Flux, MVC etc.
