TechBBQ is the largest and oldest tech entrepreneurship event with almost 6 years under the belt, going from a beta conference at the Copenhagen Stock Exchange in 2013 to 4000 guests at Øksnehallen in 2017.
We aim to further tech entrepreneurship and innovation in Denmark as well as get Denmark and the Nordics on the map as an important European innovations hub. We are the annual event where everyone from the environment meet, celebrate the successes, learn from the failures, nurse established network and make new ones. Every strong entrepreneurial hub has its flagship event - and TechBBQ is ours.
As the Project Manager Assistant you'll be an integral part of the managing team and will report directly to our Project Manager, CxO and COO. The position is voluntary (up to 10 hrs/week). You will collaborate with the different teams involved in the project.
As Project Manager Assistant, your tasks will include:
- Assisting the Project Manager, CxO, COO on a day-to-day basis
- Partake and lead presentations at meetings with partners
- Present the organisation and summit to potential stakeholders and partners
- Help ensure the information flow within the team
- Help answering of e-mails received in the info inbox
- Help the teams where and when possible with ad hoc tasks
We are looking for someone, who...
- has experience with project management (desired)
- is empathic, sympathetic and charismatic
- work well under high pressure

- has people skills
- has experience in people management (desired)
- is structured
- can keep an overview and still focus on details
- is fluent in English, speech and writing (essential)
- is fluent in Danish, speech and writing (desired, but not required)

We expect you to be part of the team starting January/February and up until the event in September. The closer we get to the event the more hours may be required, so evening and weekend work must be expected the last month - we require some flexibility from you and of course you can expect the same from us.
