The purpose of SongSafe is to develop a product that allows singers to practice without disturbing others or being overheard. Practicing at home or when other people are near, can be embarrassing for some singers and frustrating for other people. Therefore, SongSafe seeks to develop a convenient and affordable product that allows singers to practice with reduced outward sound, yet still maintaining a good practice experience for the singer.

Who we are:
SongSafe is run by the CEO and founder, who currently oversees most tasks within the company. The founder is a hobby musician, who personally has felt the wrath of disgruntled neighbors for practicing too loudly and has decided to come up with a solution.  

How we do things:
SongSafe is collaborating with the Danish Technological Institute and have access to prototype workshops, tools, materials and 3D-printers. The building of prototypes can be carried out at their campus in Tåstrup and preliminary prototypes have already been built. SongSafe is collaborating with Høiberg Patent attorneys for patenting unique design features of the product.  

Who we are looking for:
You should have a background within engineering and/or design of physical objects. You could have expertise with acoustics and materials or musical instruments. You must be self-motivated and highly engaged, and have ample amounts of humor. It is not essential that you have tons of prior start up experience, but you should be willing buckle down for a long and experience-giving journey, where you will learn on the fly. Your main responsibilities will be developing and building the product, prototyping, testing the product, testing materials and helping the patenting process. However, it is expected that you also help with tasks outside your main areas and responsibilities as necessary. You should also be flexible regarding work hours. Lastly, you need to be a friendly person who likes to work on a team, giving and receiving feedback and have good communication skills.

What we offer:
You get be a co-founder of a small startup with plenty of equity. You will help establish the vision of the company and help guide the development of the product and entire company. You will be giving equal rights as a partner and you can in collaboration with the founding team dictate the future direction of SongSafe.
